Cedar Hill Baptist Church will host a block party with food, games and fellowship on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the HRS Baxter community room on Alexander Street. Everyone is invited.

Maintenance Minutes. Preventative maintenance inspections and work order repairs (which should be placed in a timely manner) will continue in preparation for our REAC inspections at the end of October. You will be notified by hand-delivered letter when maintenance is in your development. HVAC installations will also continue in Algood.

Resident Council. The meeting on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon will feature a food safety and budgeting program*, installation of new officers and a tiebreaker vote for the office of historian. Attendance counts as four hours of community service. *Rescheduled from last month.

Free Food and Fun! The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department “Night Out” is Monday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Justice Center parking lot on Spring Street and features a dunk tank, money machine, prizes and more!
