TNT’s Gragg is a Grad! Congratulations to TNT member Dylan Gragg (see PHOTO), who graduated from Cookeville High School this year. Dylan is currently working at Walgreens to save money for his studies this fall at Nashville State here in Cookeville. He has been a TNT member for seven years and a true asset to the program. We will all miss him and wish him the best.
Summer Lunch is Back! The Putnam County school system summer nutrition program will be held again this year. Lunches are available for children of any age through 18 at any open site. (Participants must be able to eat a school lunch meal.)
Beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, July 18, children that reside in HRS developments may have free lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the police substation at 706 Pine Ave. Children will receive healthy lunches and participate in fun and games provided by area churches.
This event is facilitated by University Heights Baptist Church, the Cookeville Police Department, Highlands Residential Services, the Putnam County school system and several area church volunteers.
Please support the hard work of these groups, and bring your child to the summer lunch program!
