Healthy Housing Fair. The Healthy Housing Fair is Tuesday, April 22, anytime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the HRS main office community room. All housing residents are invited to take part in this free and fun family event. Information will be provided at the fair to help you live longer, safer, healthier and cheaper. (PHOTO: This home in Walnut Village is an example of “Healthy Housing.”) Take an educational walk through exhibits, play games, enjoy refreshments and sign up for awesome door prizes and giveaways. 

The fair is sponsored by UT Extension Service and HRS. Attendance counts as two hours of community service. 

Class Is In Session. Our Quit Smoking /Tobacco Cessation class will be held Tuesday, April 8, and again on Tuesday, April 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the HRS main office, 235 W. Jackson St. This class is sponsored by HRS and the UC Anti-Tobacco Coalition, along with Quit 4 Life and Power of Putnam. The class is free and open to the public, and you can participate in any class at any time. Class attendance counts as two hours of community service.
