Melinda’s Memos. Annual recertification interviews will be conducted for all of Algood, Buffalo Valley and Coffelt, and Willow Valley Court and Newman Drive. You should receive a letter notifying you of your appointment date and time.

Becky’s Block. The “Bountiful Bread” distribution will be held during Resident Council for all residents. Plus, Ensure can be ordered from any UCHRA office for only $20 per case. Contact your local UCHRA office for details. 

Kathy’s Corner. Angel’s Attic spring distribution is March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church garage, 165 E. Broad St., Cookeville. Enjoy free clothing, home items, toys and refreshments. Open to anyone in need.

Shout-Out Time. Congratulations to our AmeriCorps volunteers! Becky Hyder was recognized as the first Adult High School Student of the Month by the Sunset Rotary Club for her high quality schoolwork and consistent attendance. And Shaquawana Wester was recognized for her leadership roles with HRS youth programs by the IMPACT Club at their second annual gala held on Feb. 23, as part of Black History Month.

Maintenance Minutes. Annual inspections of all apartments will continue through the rest of the year. Each development will be notified by hand delivered notice prior to the inspections. 

The “M” Word. Yes, it’s that time again: mowing. Please keep toys and personal belongings out of yards. Also, please do not let children play in the yards when lawn maintenance is present. 

Playing Catch-Up. Need to get caught up or get ahead on community service? HRS is offering eight hours of opportunities this month.

We Gotta Eat. The office is closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
