9th Annual "What Home Means to Me Poster" contest Gainesboro – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, April 13 at 509 N. Murray St., the old manager’s office. Boatman/Darwin (make up day) – 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday, April 13 in the open grassy area on Darwin (times may vary according to participation – Resident Services discretion).
The poster contest is open to all public housing youth in grades K-12. To receive a cash prize, you must be present and work on your poster at the local contest. Participants must make their own posters. A complete list of rules is available in the main office lobby. Missed your local poster contest? You can still enter to try to advance to the state competition to win prizes! Simply make a poster at home and bring it to the main office by April 19.
