Thanksgiving Meal

The Cookeville Rescue Mission will serve hot lunches on Thanksgiving Day at the mission, 1331 S. Jefferson Ave., Cookeville. Everyone is welcome. They also plan to deliver lunches between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to Cookeville city residents who are disabled or homebound. Santa's Workshop

You will not want to miss the Cookeville Junior Woman’s Club’s annual Santa’s Workshop on Nov. 18-20 at the Hyder Burks Pavilion, 2390 Gainesboro Grade, Cookeville. Admission is $3 per person, with children 12 and under admitted for free. There will be over 160 vendors with items to sell, as well as Christmas caroling and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Proceeds go to support several area non-profits, including our KIDS Matter reading program. The sights, smells and sounds are just awesome and perfect for the holiday season!
