Congratulations go out to Walnut Village resident Terri Zguro, who recently completed the credits needed for her high school diploma at the Putnam County Adult Learning Center in Algood. Terri is originally from California but has lived in Tennessee since July 2011. She has an adult son and daughter. Terri left high school in the 10th grade but always wanted to go onto higher education classes to make a career of her hobbies and interests, which include photography and computers. She also enjoys gardening, travel and giving back to others. Terri wants everyone to know that if she can do it, so can they. We are very proud of Terri and this accomplishment!

GED classes are held at the HRS Main Office community room on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30-10:30 a.m. (closed July 4). Classes are free and open to the public, and everything you need is provided. The teacher, Jennifer Anderson, does a fantastic job!!
