Sun, Seed & Soil: The Community Garden is just getting started so there is still plenty of time to get in on this great opportunity. Spring crops are currently being planted and soon we’ll be planting tomatoes, corn, okra, beans, squashes, pumpkins, herbs and much more. Not only do you get the benefit of the incredible tasting food but the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of your labor while getting to be around others and enjoying the outdoors.
NEW LOCATION: The garden has been moved to the TTU Shipley Farm where it’s super easy to get to and shelter and restrooms are available. Several HRS residents have worked at the garden the past 2 years. It’s all free and supplies are furnished.
