No Fireworks Allowed at HRS

Have a happy Independence Day on July 4. But please remember the Highlands Residential Services fireworks policy: 

“Not to use fireworks in any manner on HRS property and/or premises.”  

This includes any and all types of fireworks, such as:

• Bottle rockets
• Firecrackers
• Sparklers
• Poppers, etc. 

You are also responsible for any children or visiting nonresidents who are also not allowed to use fireworks on HRS property.  

In 2011, HRS experienced a fire that started from fireworks. The fire resulted in three homes burned, residents displaced and belongings lost. In the past year alone, HRS has had fires in four locations – two from cigarettes, one from a lighter and one from food left cooking unattended. 

Please remember to put safety first.
