The council meets the second Thursday every month in the HRS main office community room.

Meeting: Thursday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the HRS main office. Council business this month includes counting officer election ballots and sharing updates on the advocates program. Attendance counts as four hours of community service.

Featuring: Drucilla Ray of the University of Tennessee Putnam County Extension will present a food safety and budgeting program and provide food samples and kitchen items.
