Shaquawana Wester has done it again! For the past three years, Shaquawana has applied to DoSomething.org’s Teens for Jeans campaign, and this year Highlands Residential Services was selected as a recipient.
DoSomething.org partners with Aéropostale® to promote the Teens for Jeans campaign, which is in its seventh year. The campaign has donated more than 3.5 million pairs of jeans.
Sixty-four cases of jeans have been donated from across middle Tennessee and shipped to HRS (see PHOTO).
Shaquawana will distribute the jeans Saturday, April 5, in the Highlands Residential Services main office parking lot. The jeans are free to anyone in need, however the following provisions apply:
- Open to youth 10 to 11:30 a.m.
- Open to the public 11:30 a.m.
- No income questions will be asked.Limit of three pairs per person.
- Anyone receiving jeans must be present, including children.
