Children that reside in HRS developments may have free lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the police substation at 706 Pine Ave. Children will receive healthy lunches and participate in fun and games provided by area churches. Lunches are available for children of any age through 18 at any open site. (Participants must be able to eat a school lunch meal.)
This event is facilitated by University Heights Baptist Church, the Cookeville Police Department, Highlands Residential Services, the Putnam County school system and several area church volunteers.
Please support the hard work of these groups, and bring your child to the summer lunch program!
