JOB OPENING: Applications are being accepted at the main office for an Ameri- Corps member to work with HRS residents beginning late summer through next year. You will receive a living allowance (money deposited into your bank account to spend as you choose) and money for education while not affecting any current assistance. If you have questions, call me at (931) 526-9793, ext. 212.

MISTY'S MINUTES

Congratulations go out to HRS Housing Manager Brenda Hutchinson, who recently won the Upper Cumberland Hero award at the UC Adult Abuse Coalition Summit for her work with residents at Walnut Village and Willow Heights.

Incredibly delicious fresh food is available for free at the Sun, Seed & Soil Community Garden. HRS residents are welcome to work at the garden every Friday around 9 a.m. through the growing season. The premise is simple: You work at the garden – you take home the food. Adaptive tools, shelter, water and sunscreen are provided. Please wear garden clothes and sturdy shoes. Questions regarding transportation? Please call me at (931) 529-9793, ext. 224

TIMELY TIDBITS The main office will be closed for Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4.
