At the “Odd Squad Camp”  kids will get to explore all kinds of fun, hands-on learning, and they get to play with some really cool things.

All times are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public; all supplies and lunch are included! Please bring your child to these locations:

Monday, July 11, at the Police Substation on Pine Ave.

Tuesday, July 12, at the HRS community room in Baxter, 318 Alexander Street.

Wednesday, July 13, at the Monterey Public library.

The “Odd Squad Camp” was hosted by WCTE in June for kids attending the summer lunch program on Pine Avenue. This was so much fun, they are doing it again this month! We hope to see you there.

TNT Summer Day Camp continues through July 14, and are we ever having a great time! We’ve cooked up some delicious meals at the PC Health Department kitchen while learning culinary skills. So far, local businesses such as Chick Fil A, Roland Advertising and Motors, and Institutional Wholesale have taught the teens about employment responsibilities and career opportunities. We’re learning about our local government and life skills. Plus, we’re having fun swimming, going to the movies and hiking nature trails.

Please like and watch our Facebook page “Teens Need Training” for lots of great pictures.

The Summer Lunch program continues Mondays-Fridays through July 22 (closed July 4). Any Putnam County child ages 3-17 is welcome to come to the TNT Center in the Police Substation at 706 Pine Avenue from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for a free meal. C.J. Gerndt, our AmeriCorps volunteer, is there daily, along with numerous area churches and community organizations, which are providing fun activities and fellowship programs to the kids. Any questions, call Kathy at (931) 526- 9793, ext. 212.
